Hi. My name is Rebecca and I think I would like to start my diary with how I came upon Braintec.

I was on a trip in Germany visiting and old friend, Carrie. We were roommates in college at Burlington and the best of friends. She had given birth to her first child. She gave her daughter my name as a middle name, Jacqueline Rebecca Baldwin. Quite an honor, so I felt a bit obligated to visit.  She married Bernard (Bernie, to close friends) months after graduation and moved to Germany. His family and future were waiting for him there and she knew that's where she belonged as well. The trip was short but sweet.  I stayed a week visiting and doing the tourist thing. Though I was sad to have to say good-bye to Carrie I was ready for the trip to end.

On the flight back home, I grew tired of the novel I was reading. Ready for a conversation with anyone I looked to the passenger sitting next to me. I admit I was disappointed when I found he was asleep. Too bad because he was rather attractive. Big, muscular, broad shoulders, and very easy on the eye!  My mind lingered for a while as I stared out the window, then I overheard the conversation of the passengers sitting in front of me. There was a woman maybe a bit older than me, and a gentleman a bit older than her. They were talking about some sort of implant placed in the head, that had to do with living other peoples memories. I was interested and skeptical at the same time. The Gentleman seemed to ask a million questions. It was fine by me because everything he had asked I wanted to know as well. Listening to the conversation made the flight zoom by and before I knew it we were landing in New York.

When exiting the plane, I noticed the two still talking. The woman was handing the man a paper and pen. She had quite a bit of luggage with her and looked in a hurry, glancing around as if looking for somebody. What she did not notice was that she had dropped a few papers while handing the man from the plane one. When the two of them left, I was curious to see what exactly she was giving him. It was a brochure. The cover of it read as follows: "Braintec,  Makes your dreams come true!"
